Likely Shurmur's call. He doesn't really use a FB.

Still sucks. We just extended him too.

He was always under utilized IMO. I was hoping to see him used in more of an h-back role. Guess not. Not really seeing this team improving in this offseason yet. Signed a couple guys, but weíre losing guys and thereís a lot of holes to fill. Hoping to see more positive moves.

Andrew Beck played FB, Y, Z, H and STs in 2019. His performance and versatility made Andy Janovich expendable in an offense which probably won't use many two back formations.

I really liked how Beck looked in the final five games with Lock. 7 of his 9 receptions, 62 of his 90 yards, and his lone score came in that time. Wouldn't mind seeing him get a more significant role in the offense.

Don't feel too bad. Hitler bought a T.O. jersey.

    This would matter..

If Jano ever stayed healthy. But the fact is as good as he is the man can never stay for more than a few games in a row. Itís not a real bad loss.

Janovich missed five games in 2016 and eight in 2019. He was available for sixteen games in 2017 and 2018.

True. Beck showed some good versatility and I like his size. Iím not really heartbroken about Jano.

He did have that ugly injury.
But, I am surprised by the trade.

He was a definite boost to our run game, but with his injury history and Shurmer's offense having less of an emphasis on the FB position, I can't say I mind us getting something for him.

If he becomes Peyton Hillis 2.0 in Cleveland, it will look bad. But the odds are very, very low that will happen. Got something for a player that wasn't gonna get much play.

    Can't complain about that.

This is why I dont buy Player specific jerseys. I bought a Manning Jersey when he signed only because I knew Denver was his last stop.
