Supdily early team award predictions (not real awards, obviously)

I mean obviously this is a little early, like we don't even know if there will be a season, early. BUT, if we DO have a season, and all the guys I have listed actually make the team and play, it'll be fun to track their progress and see how ridiculously wrong I've gotten all of these.

    2020 Team Award Projections

    Offensive MVP - Drew Lock
Most Productive Offensive Player - Philip Lindsay
Best Offensive Player - Dalton Risner
Most Improved Offensive Player - Lock/Fant (Unfortunately not Bolles)
Offensive Breakout Player - Noah Fant

    Defensive MVP - Von Miller
Most Productive Defensive Player - Bradley Chubb
Best Defensive Player - Justin Simmons
Most Improved Deffensive Player - Dremont Jones
Defensive Breakout Player - Dremont Jones

Comeback player of the year - Chubb/Callahan

Best offseason addition - Jurrell Casey

Interesting idea. I'd say early just because it's pre-draft. Interesting concept though, so I'll play along.

To keep this short(ish) I'll just note my changes:
    Most Productive Offensive Player: Sutton
    Most Improved Offensive Player: Bolles

    Defensive MVP: Chubb
    Best Offseason Addition: Bouye

I was so impressed with Sutton's growth from year 1 to 2 and I think more steady QB play (hopefully just 1 starter this year) combined with Shurmur's willingness to go downfield will only help him be more productive.

I think Bolles did finally start to improve towards the end of last season and I think with Munchak really understanding who he is and what he needs from a coach will only serve to make him better this year (Oh, big fingers crossed on this one).

I think Casey is the best player added this offseason and the one I'm most excited about. However, I think that translates mostly to more production for Von, Chubb and the CBs. I picked Bouye, because I expect him to be the most visible beneficiary of the increased pressure. CBs are more visible than DL, so it's just a logistics pick.

Thanks for making an interesting (even though wayyyyyyy too early) topic for discussion. I'm interested to see what this looks like after we win the SB in Feb.

With all do respect, predictions are all about how close or far off they are (rarely 100% correct) and it's fun if a person can say "I nailed it" but can also be a little embarrassing if you have to say "what was I thinking?"

I'm not very good with predictions other than "I predict the Sun will rise in the East tomorrow."

If and when the 2020 NFL season comes and goes please come back to this thread with the results.

I generally find that early predictions tend to be more accurate than predictions made close to or in the beginning of the season. There’s less of a sky is falling mentality that comes with it for example the Miami Dolphins season predictions after week one.

NFL mvp Drew Lock. Lock is gonna ball out and fallow Mahomes and Jackson as second year starters to win the mvp for the entire league.

Sutton gets 1500 yards and 10 tds

Melvin gordon ends up with 1600 all purpose yards and 16 tds

On defense we lead the nfl in sacks with miller chubb and casey all hitting double digits. Chubb leads the nfl in sacks

We come into the post season as one of the favorites for the super bowl and loses in close afc championship to the Ravens who go on and win it all

At least that's how my ideal season would go minus we win it all.

I hope you're 100% correct except the Ravens part.

10-4 good buddy. I think everyone in Bronco Nation is extremely positive right now and I think our AFC West foes are beginning to look at the Broncos out of the corner of their eyes knowing they need to start paying close attention to what's happening Bronco Country!
