Who are your top 1st round prospects?

Let’s do a “big board” of Broncos prospects for the first round.

    1) List your personal top 5 “realistic” prospects you would take at 15.

    2) List 3 trade up prospects who fell near our reach.

    3) List your top 5 trade back prospects.

At 15 I would want one of the top 3 WRs mostly or a LT based on how the board falls.
    1) Ruggs
    2) Lamb
    3) Jeudy
    4) Andrew Thomas
    5) Javon Kinlaw

Trade up options if a top prospect were to fall.

    1) Simmons
I’ve seen a few mocks where he could potentially fall to 10 (not likely but possibility).

    2) Ruggs
Ruggs is my number 1 first round prospect. If we nee to jump the Jets, Raiders, and 49ers to get him let’s do it.

    3) Derrick Brown
More size for the defensive line.

I don’t see Simmons or Brown falling out of the top 10, but if they’re there we have the chips to trade to make things happen to get anyone who falls.

    Trade back options

    1) Jordan Jefferson
    2) Josh Jones
    3) Kenneth Murray
    4) Kristian Fulton
    5) Cesar Ruiz

Please, do not trade up in the first round unless its for Simmons. No other player is worth the cost of our first and our second. I'd love to get an additional pick in the 2nd round though because we seem to strike gold there.

15th- Thomas, Henderson, top 3 WR
    Trade back- Jefferson, Laviska, Murray

Top first round prospects in no particular order are:
    Joe Burrow
    Tua Tagovailoa
    Justin Herbert
    CeeDee Lamb
    Jerry Jeudy
    Henry Ruggs III
    Tristan Wirfs
    Andrew Thomas
    Jedrick Wills
    Mekhi Becton
    Chase Young
    Derrick Brown
    Javon Kinlaw
    Isaiah Simmons
    Jeffrey Okudah

That's fifteen guys. If Denver keeps #15, one of them will be there when their turn to pick comes. There's a chance a team ahead of Denver will reach outside this list. If so, then two of these guys will be available. Of course, Denver's list may not be identical to mine, and it will be very interesting to see what ultimately happens.

What makes it interesting is that category you mention of “ possible reach outside this list”

Have seen mocks with Love, Murray, Queen, Chaisson, Jefferson taken before #15.

Yep you nailed it I think. One of those guys would be good at #15. I am pretty sure QB isn't an option but I would be shocked if one of those is available outside the first 10 picks.

I would trade up to #9 to get Simmons but I don't know why the team at 9 wouldn't just take him anyway. We really could use any of these guys and start them next year.

I really like your option C trade down players. If we could get an extra 2nd rounder and land one of those guys I will be ecstatic!

1 of the big 4 ot. Any of them would be an upgrade to bolles and then we can move bolles to rg to complete our line.

I don’t understand why everyone assumes Bolles can play G? Not saying he couldn’t but I’ve seen this suggestion over the years and it seems like we already believe that once he goes to G he’ll be good and our oline is set.

Realistically Bolles will be our LT this year and will be let go after. I can’t see, not saying it won’t, us drafting a T in the first. Bolles did show a lot of improvement and he’s flaws were masked with Lock ability to quickly release and move around in the pocket.

I don’t see how Denver doesn’t go WR if Juedy or Ruggs is on the board. Kinlaw makes a lot of sense but I see Denver moving back again this year.

My bold prediction is Denver gets two late firstoicks this year. Trading back and taking those extra pick and moving our 2nd back into the first.
