Speaking of irresponsible. Did you guys see the massive party in Beverly Hills that ended in a death? 100's of people partied at a mansion that cost 10,000 a night !!! All for a unamed NFL player who just got drafted ........Chargers or Rams ??????

I'll be honest I would have been tickled pink if it was a player who opted out because of covid . I wonder how may players were there and if any of those players were on the opt out list .

Well crud, I forgot to add that the death was from gunfire . Apparently some gang bangers robbed a bunch of attendees, shots rang out 4 people shot I believe. 1 casualty the others are in critical / stable condition.

I think the best strategy is to try to come up with immediate and accurate testing and there seems to be progress in this area. If you don't have it you can't give it to anyone. I also read where dogs can detect COVID at 93% accuracy and 240 people an hour, which is one every 15 seconds. The problem sees to be it takes months to teach them.

There hasn't been much actual research but "experts" have said they think face shields are at least as protective as face masks. There's been players that played with face shields. I seem remember a Bronco did...was it Tony Dorsett?

Video about what Broncos are doing

In the last 45 years the Broncos have drafted in the top 10 five times. They have drafted in the top 15 twelve times. Some may want them to draft a top 5 pick but the Broncos are not as bad they want them to be.

Big 10 are having an emergency meeting to discuss whether or not to cancel fall sports. They would be the first of the power 5 to cancel.

Now it looks like all Power 5 leaders are discussing this. Worries about being the last conferences cancel is part of this. Looks like announcements from all five are coming this week.

Yes but where I see a MASSIVE disadvantage for the NFL is each NFL Team having a 53 man roster and much more support staff who could potentially transmit the virus.

Well now the season appears in jeopardy again and this time it has nothing to do with Covid.

We still have a few weeks to go for something to change. But I feel like they arenít fully committed to their cause and point if they only temporarily bail and then come back. It doesnít really get any point across if they only skip practice and donít really hit the leagues bottom lines that they are trying to make the point too.

Iíve already seen analysts says for basketball that if the players return to the court today that there will be major outcry against them.

Just reported that NBA will resume the playoffs, but not today. Definitely not saying this is the end of the situation.

I wish the leagues would allow something like the Breast Cancer month. It is a constant reminder when we see pink on the field and then all the stuff worn is sold to benefit the cause.

The biggest problem with this particular social issue going for decades is it is forgotten and nothing is done. If players stop playing I do not think that furthers the cause the best possible way.

Allow the players to play with something different in their uniforms...like the pink items worn during Breast Cancer month. Then every time there is a highlight....people think about the cause.

I thought they were allowing black lives matter logos on their uniforms? Was that not expected to be permanently allowed?

The political and social unrest has no business being in sports.

Normally I would pretty much agree with you. The amount of support by the leagues and the players, and by many fans has a direct bearing on what we are seeing more of.

I agree, we're not allowed to talk politics or religion on a message board sponsored by a team but the team itself can protest and have a voice about what is important to them??? There are facts in every case and I for one would like to see facts of a case before we go insane over something!!!
