Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Everyone in Denver knew how good he was. We as fans knew how good he was. He single-handedly turned the tied in many games while he was with us. Chubb is what we've see so far, and that won't change. Did we have to wait 3 years to see what Von was gonna be?
Fair enough, as I said “promising”. If you’re a firm believer in BPA in the draft, then you wouldn’t have hesitated at taking Chubb after the Browns took Ward at #4. I don’t care how good you think Shaq or even Ray was at the time. Chubb is also going into his “redshirt” 2nd year. He’s going to be fine (let us not forget that he broke Von’s rookie sack record with VJ as the head coach). And Von was a generational pass rushing talent out of A&M and our 2011 defense overall was key to keeping us in those Tebowmania games. But yes, there’s no denying Shaq looks great now and hypothetically should’ve been retained here.
Well, the good news is we find a serviceable NFL tackle this offseason, we're going to have the best receiver trio in the league with Sutton, Jeudy, and Hamler. I feel pretty confident about that.
