    The Chargers.....WOW

Is this called shooting yourself in the foot.......or the lung. Unreal. Stay classy San Diego.

A Chargers team doctor accidentally punctured Tyrod Taylor's lung just before kickoff Sunday while trying to administer a pain-killing injection, leading to the quarterback missing the team's game against the Chiefs, coach Anthony Lynn told ESPN.

And just saw that per the CBA, when a player accepts medical care from the team, they can't sue.

Apparently it was a known risk, so it is what it is.

      He’ll be fine.

Sounds bad when you first here it. Good that it is not that unusual. But yes, wow, I'd be concerned if a doc did that to me!

you do realize that the chargers no longer play in San Diego, right? broncolee is right, it was a known risk that tyrod was no doubt made aware of before the procedure and had to agree to it.

sucks for tyrod, unless herbert plays bad going forward it's likely he lost his job due to this.
