    interesting fact

Does anyone remember our last superbowl victory?

    Were we 14-2?

    who did we lose to?

If i recall correctly, we lost to miami and to the new york giants that year.

The giants on the road with a last minute touchdown catch......

i cant remember the miami game but i think it was on the road.

thats true.. but that was some time ago
According to Smith, much of his motivation stems from his push for a third Super Bowl ring. "I don't care about money. I don't care about, 'Oh, you are a superstar. You are a celebrity.' To me, all that is crap," he says. "I just care about winning."

I don't think they are THAT team but, they look a lot like (& maybe better than) the 1977 team.

1997:16-4-won superbowl, Oakland, KC, & Pitt all on the road losses.

1998: 17-2-won Superbowl, NYGiants and Miami-both-on the road losses!

Our offense was so good during the Super Bowl years that before the game even started it was 21-0. We have no potent offense. Bell is our only game breaker.

    Heh, interesting point.

However, we were 13 - 0 going into that game and had nothing to play for but the record. But who knows? Maybe it ain't coincidence and we're actually destined to win it all.

    Okay, probably not...

BS: This team as just as much, if not more has a "potent" offense. Mistake free/eficiency.

You know what else is crazy?

Same receiver made the game winning TD reception in both games, Alan Turner. The CBS guys were talking about it and I remember watching it as a kid. Surprised no one brought it up...

I doubt we'll make the superbowl this year. This loss is tough for me to swallow.
