And if BigLenny drops in I recommend the "Amber Mist" Snowdonia cheese which has a nice strong Whisky flavour!

Maybe I ought to buy a 3kg Bomber and go out and curl during this icy weather we're having.
The news and weather forecast keep going on about the "beast from the east" that's on it's way with wintery conditions.

    Ah yes.....

A mature Cheddar warmed through with a generous splash of Whisky.

And I notice the other cheese with a mist to it - Ruby Mist, also has some nice content....

A mature Cheddar with rich, warming hints of Port and Brandy.

I guess the cheese has to be "mature" enough to include alcohol!

Sweedish Kaffeost sounds good - cheese in coffee.

I've had Turkish coffee rubbed cheese. I think it was a medium cheddar. Really brought out the nutty notes.

Jawsie.....please remember to bring a few chunks of these cheeses to The Azores, when we meet up for our mid-afternoon, mid ocean coffee.

It's not one for fans of mild cheeses as it's an extra mature cheddar with a lovely smooth texture.
Way to good. I ended up eating two thirds of it all by myself!

    Thanks for the link.

I do like a sharp cheddar. Green Thunder looks really good, too. And I like the name. They sell on Amazon. Takes about a month. I'm tempted.
