    Hope you're horsing around Saddle.

Gone quiet in this cafe of late.

I've been away in a festival for a few days with my Sis. Had a great time.

Technically a literary festival but I went to the comedy and sports events

Had the best cup of coffee ever in a place called Witney-on-Wye and burgers to die for in a pop-up shop "Rule of Tum" in Hay-on-Wye.
The festival is actually called Hay Festival but it doesn't involve any horses eating Hay!

    Good day Saddle.
I've had my three mug fulls & it's nearly 5 p.m so your pot's safe!
Coffee early evening keeps me awake till 3 a.m! Useful for football season!

Had the cutest call from my granddaughter at lunchtime. She was so excited & delighted to have lost her 1st baby tooth especially as in her own words "she's only five"

Lately, I've been having 2 cups of bold, hot coffee and 1 of cold brew.

Like Jaws, I try to get the last cup in before 4-5PM. I'm up at 4AM as it is.

No coffee for me yesterday. Was sick!
Back to two today, little ones.

Hospital tomorrow, not really looking forward to the long drive, tried postponing, but would have to wait three more months if I did. It's 9 months since the removal of the tumour like growth (cholesteatoma) in my ear and 9 months is a pretty crucial time in determining whether they got it all or whether it's started to grow back.

    Thanks Saddle.
The top guy wasn't there today after all.
They tried to send me away, but I wasn't happy to travel 40 miles for nothing and wait another three months.
So I insisted on seeing one of the junior guys & the senior nurse backed me up.
He didn't have the expertise to give me a definitive verdict but as far as he was able to ascertain nothing to nasty to be concerned about in near future.
I'll see the top consultant in September.

I'm glad you insisted on seeing someone. Even though it wasn't definitive, it was something. The waiting can be stressful.

Shame on the top guy for not being there.
