I've been to Hogshead Brewery a couple times over the last week or so. I've heard it criticized by a few other local brewers and beer aficionados, but I decided to check it out anyway. Cool place on 29th, sort of between LoHi and Wheatridge. Not the biggest selection or boldest flavor, but really solid stuff. I might be a little biased due to my time spent in London, but a good ESB on a cask beer engine is tough to beat sometimes. Plus they serve real pints (20oz)!

Chin Wag ESB was my favorite, but the Gilpin Black Gold London Porter was awesome too. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

The esb is great. Has great flavor too. Fun little joint, and I believe the owner has only been here in the US for about 5 years.

    Hooray, beer!

Dudes, idk if you guys are into Pumpkin beer but I drowned my sorrows in a good one this evening. Whole Hog Pumpkin Ale, not only the absolute best Pumpkin beer I've ever had, probably one of the better beers period I've had in recent memory. Tastes great, strong, and literally smells like your grandma is baking a pumpkin pie in the bottle.
