sorry guy out of all the broncos backs but td was the least talented back the broncos have had. Cause you put eight men in the box Elway would burn you and he had an incredibly line two. answer me this after Elway retired how didi he do not very well 4 games 211 before his ACL tear with the same line. you get a clue td was a slightly above averge back with a great QB and a great line. portis is a good back. but moroney will be better hes bigger faster. and hes got better vision then portis

    Smile TD the least talented????

Can't agree with that, as TD was a very hard runner with great cutting ability. He didn't have Portis' speed, but he had good enough speed, obviously. He had more heart than any other back and his special teams play is what got him noticed. If you were a Super Bowl MVP, an NFL Season MVP, and ran for greater than 2000 yards in one season, all within five years, you have to be special. Yes, the O-Line was very good and the WR run-blocking was outstanding (Rod and Eddie Mac), but TD earned his glory. Elway was great (the Best), but the Broncos didn't win the big ones until Davis arrived. TD should end up in the HOF. If Gale Sayers is there, so should be TD!!!

TD shouldnt even be in the same breath as gale sayers. TD had Elway and a line Sayers had nothing and still got it done. i love the broncos. but people on these boards give TD way to much credit. bottom line people had to respect elway. it was a pick your poison kind of offence td or elway.. im not saying he was garbage im just saying the system made him look better then he was and his stats after elway support it .sayers had nothing walter had nothing until 85. TD isnt a HOF back not even close. 99 after elway retired he looked lost out there and cause there wasnt anyone to take the pressure off him why cause defence wasnt scared of the pass anymore sayers never had a passing attack neather did walter
