Good for Putzier to sign with the Houston Texans. Can't leave a good man on the market too long.

Looks like Denver plans to go with their project at TE next season.

(will be moved to Other NFL teams or 2006 Free Agency thread.)

Man I dont know how the Pats do it. Kubs seems like he has been interested in several Broncos (Lepsis, Putz, even talking to Dennison about joining his staff). Pats have lost 3 assistant coaches in the last 2 years, must be tough having your team raided for players. Then again I guess Weis wont be taking any pats back to ND, even though they did have a strangely good year.

After obtaining Putzier and Kubiak, I'll have to keep up with them this season.

Normally, I would agree, and would move this before I post.

However, Jeb WAS a Bronco just a few weeks ago, and it is a story of interest to Bronco fans where our players go. So for now, until the words gets out, I dont have a problem with this one here. At least for a few days. But I will merge the OTHER threads that are bound to pop up in here about it with this one. Of course, I only speak for myself. Another mod could move this in ten minutes.

Good for Jeb! I think he's a great pickup for the Texans, and wish him a succesful career, except, of course, when he plays us, lol.

i honestly thought last year they would break out and win 9 or 10 games

now this might be the year, they draft Bush, get a good olineman in round 2, putzier as a good weapon at TE, they still have a decent recieving core, carr might finalyl do well with some oline help, kubiak runnin gthe show will only bring sucess. This will be a fun year for any texas football fans.

I believe they could have won at least 7 games last year. They won two, and "threw" at leats the last three games, in the run at Reggie.

Now that Jeb is officially no longer available do the chances of drafting a tight end raise, or is Wesley the answer?

Who know with Shanahan but it would seem that with a project like Duke is it would be a good idea to bring in another young TE via the draft.
