I am really scratching my head over this pick.

I don't like spending first rounders on guys that are not going to start for years.

DL-Ngata was going to B-More. Bunkley will be in Philly within 15 minutes. Lawson would've been a bit of a reach, and there's roster room.

RB-In the end, we're talking about Denver here. Mike Bell in the 4th does it for me. Heck, LenDale could fall to 37...

WR-Heck, there's no way anyone here (other than a select few) should be whining about taking a QB over those WR "busts."

The main reason people are coming out of the woodworks is because nobody believed CUTLER would be sitting at 11.

It wasn't pragmatic for us to assume that.

Now for people that live in a fantasy world where they think they know everything ...like yourself...it's a stretch to understand.

i can say that i'm not really happy with this selection.... i mean i think cutler could be great for our team but i was really excited with the possibility to win a superbowl this year, and definitely this move won't help to win it.

it's true what people say about our neccessity for a back-up qb but d-line should have been the priority.

If you haven't been paying attention, some people have been plugging Cutler since October...

As for the "new" Cutler fans, they likely weren't Cutler guys earlier because Denver was never linked to him and he seemed like a longshot possibility. It wasn't like he was on any Bronco analysts short list. I'm sure everyone liked him but never bother to consider him for Denver.

Cutler isn't exactly "my man", but I'll root for him now that he's a Bronco. I would have preferred Bunkley or Ngata, but I prefer this pick to a RB in the 1st rd. I'm not surprised by this pick.... though I was surprised Cutler slipped out of the top 10. Blame the raiders....... had the raiders picked a QB, so would the Cardinals.... Denver could have got a DT. The key to this is how the 2nd round goes. The downside of picking Cutler is that either WR, TE or DT (if not 2 of those positions) will be ignored on day 1. Plummer will start (barring injury) for the next 2 years. If he doesn't have us in the SB by then, I would have given up on him by then.


I'm not celebrating this pick, but I can understand using 1 of the 1st 3 picks on the future.
