Well it's now apparent that if the sox are going to win the WS, they'll have to do it without playoff Josh Beckett because whoever we saw last night wasn't Josh Beckett. I'm also scared that they are going to wear out Papelbon. I think Lester will pull us through tonight but it's going to be tough going through the Rays and Phillies (who i think will steamroll the dodgers).

beckett hadn't pitched in over 2 weeks....he'll be ok....i'll still take him as the 3rd starter

Yeah, but Beckett has just been kinda off all season. It's not like he just had a dominant season and suddenly struggled in the playoffs. I'm not writing him off but I'm also not counting on getting the Becket that we got last year or that the Marlins got in 03.
