    Today's Yankee update:

MLB: Yankees 5, Mets 4 in 11 (win)
AAA: Columbus 4, Toledo 3 in 11 (win)
AA: Trenton 1, Bowie 0 in 11 (win)
    A advanced: Daytona 6, Tampa 4 (loss)
A: Charleston 6, Rome 6 still playing in the bottom of the 16th (Yankees team is Charleston)

Edit 1: Single A Charleston is now in the Top of the 17th, still tied at 6.

Edit 2: Going to the 18th......you know what it's just Class A....who really cares

maybe......... I'll bet he was thrilled just to be called up. I thought he might end up in today's game. Colter Bean had a callup last year of only a few days...... they used to call it "riding the Columbus shuttle".

That's INSANE. 0.26....... yeah, I love to see things like that as I read in Sports Illustrated that the Yankees only real prospects are Hughes and Tabata.

Memo to Brian Cashman: If you release Scott Erickson, Jose Veras, Mark Corey or Matt Smith can be called up...... PAVING THE WAY FOR THE GUY WITH THE 0.26 ERA TO MOVE UP TO COLUMBUS.

Well, if they keep Bean in the Majors for a while, can't they call up Beam to AAA?

I think Hughes is going to need to stay in AA for a little while, but I think we need to move Tabata up as soon as possible....he's absolutely dominating A at 17....he could almost be in AAA at 17....I expect to seem him in the Majors at age 20....replacing sheffield.....

I'll ignore that, considering most of us have loved the Yankees since a very, very young age.

    It'll be a good series.

Yankees, of course, will win it 2 out of 3.

Yes Yankee fans. Doesn't matter if you've loved them when you were young. Thats when you jumped on the bandwagon.

"So son, who's your favorite team?" "Well I dunno dad who won the WS last year?" "The Yankees" "Oh ok I'm a Yankees fan"

Try this....living in NJ you see one of two teams play, the Yankees or the Mets.

    "Daddy who's playing?"

"The New York Yankess vs. _______."

"Oh, who are you rooting for?"

    "The Yankees...their our local team!"

    "Oh, Go Yankees!"

I'm not saying that's everyone, but for those who aren't in the area, how could you call them bandwagoners if their freakin 5 or 6 years old.

Sounds to me like a Red Sox fan is a wee bit jealous his team never wins.

Never Wins? you better check yourself. We are leading the Divison, slapped the Yankees down so far this year, and does RED SOX IN 7 mean anything to you?????

You're winning the series 3-2 so far...not so dominating....

    And no, it doesn't.

I'd take getting beat in seven once over seeing more than a few championships in my lifetime.

And South, I wasn't referring to you, you're normally a good Sox fan.
