I was being pessimistic I would think more like top pick.

New system no QB, even with tater and ashely no offense the defensive genius in the former HC left town they lost the big pass rushing DE.

This team should be drafting top 5 for a long time. Especailly in that division BOS MIA BUF as 6 games a year along with TEN, IND, JAX, CHI, HOU, MIN @ GB in DEC with OAK as the last game the only game I see them winning is DET at home Maybe @CLE but I'd bet money on that one.

I suppose if they twisted our arm, we could toss in our 1st rounder as well...

But only if they played hard ball...

Maybe the Jets would be willing to take Dayne and our first rounder for their second round pick. That seems like it would be fair for them.

I see the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets winning probably 3...people forget they lost Ty Law too, and losing Abraham is huge. Vilma is awesome, but losing Abraham will hurt him too. Pennington's arm is probably dead, and Curtis Martin turned 50 years old last season. so how about Lelie for Vilma and their next 3 1st round draft picks?? ...perfect trade

    Tatum Bell to NY Jets?

    http://www.realgmfootball.com/src_wi...for_tailbacks/

Denver Post - Because of the uncertainty surrounding injury-plagued New York Jets running back Curtis Martin, several New York-area media outlets are speculating that the team will pursue a running back. Broncos running back Tatum Bell has been mentioned in some reports, but it is unlikely anything would develop soon.

Much of the speculation likely is fueled because Tatum Bell was bypassed by Mike Bell, who will start tonight at Detroit. Tatum Bell will remain the No. 2 tailback, and former No. 1 Ron Dayne has slipped to No. 3.

That wont happen. Hes the only proven RB on the roster. No way Shanahan lets a rookie and a draft bust be the only RB's.

Why would we trade a young talented running back who still has a lot of years left for an old curtis martin who has maybe 2 years left in him?
