Official Game Day Thread: Week 9 2006 Broncs vs Steelers

Well here we are less than 24 hours at a chance to paste one on the Defending Superbowl Champs.

Big Ben has been a bit unsteady, now is not the time to let him right the ship. The Raiders got away with a game they should have loss against Pittsburg. If Denver wants to beat them in their own stadium we will have to take it to them and quiet the terrible towels.

No season will go perfect, but we can't let games like this get away from us. We have a chance ot make a staement so let's do it.

With last weeks loss, several posters were unable to control their behavior here and were suspended. It is something we take no joy in, but if we have to do it again we will. The COC is here for a reason. The rules are posted quite clearly. We are trying to tighten things up so please think about what you are posting and the actions it could result in. As always anyone with any questions can contact me, admin or any of the other mods.

    Thank you.

Wasn't the last time the broncos played there, the afc championship? When the steelers had cordell stewert, and the broncos scored 2 touchdowns in the last two minutes of the 1st half?

    Oakland 20, Pittsburgh 13

The score from Pitts last game. Think our D feels like they have something to prove after last week? The only way we can lose this is if we get over confident, but I don't think the team's gonna do that. This should be a comfortable win, with a chance to prove the offense didn't just look good against a lousey D last week.

GO BRONCS!!! (Revenge is a dish best served cold. )

Just a pity that your day's going to be spoilt by an FF loss to the Madam then isn't it?

Good game yesterday, two good goals from Kuyt........I'll settle for the same again today from the Broncos, be it two scores to nil or just a John Lynch Saftey to nil

    Yep that'll do.

The first goal in particular was very nicely set up with that floating pass from Stevie G, headed down by Crouchie to set up Kuyt.

Same points total as the BS in the table now, the climb continues
