    More 9 year old rhymes

D-Will you were always the best
You were full of fun and had zest
    You had a good smile
For all fans up at the mile
    You had cool hair
I wish you were still there
You in a good place now
and all I can think is how

        A tainted world,
        Full of surprising pain,
        One we surely,
        Cannot hope to truly tame.

But there is that one true light,
        Alway, always shining,
        Always bright,
        Within this dark dark world.

        They glimmer and give,
        A shining glow of love,
They have true reason to live,
        To make a difference.

They touch our hearts and our souls,
        And serve as role-models,
And for them we reach for our goals,
        For them we strive.

        Maybe life isn't fair,
And maybe life is just a game,
But those good people truly care,
They play the cheaters with all their hearts.

In a person's fortune and fame,
THey may even forget how to truly play,
        This unfair, taxing game
But Dee had not, he knew his part.

        And with all your love,
        Darrent Williams,
It is with a gentle velvet glove,
        You touched us so.

        In all your love, D-Will,
        We strive as you did,
        We do not sit still,
        We venture to our greatest.

        In your memory,
        In your legacy,
        Do not worry,
For you made our world better.

Darrent will always be missed. Darrent was a good man who made me smile. I loved it that he was a Bronco. Darrent will always be in my heart and the hearts of all the kids that loved him. My favorite memory of Darrent was his frohawk. That is how I will always remember him.
          Your daughter is very nice.

          Very smart I may add.

            A timeline...

            Big game lost...
            we're out...
            the letdown...

thoughts of what could have been...
            disappointment...
            we go home...

            need for a distraction...
            a party downtown...
            yeah, that sounds hot...

            the fight...
            bunch of punks...
don't know who they messin' with...
            it's cool..

            let's go somewhere else...
            me and my friends...
            good times...

            we out...

            to the Hummer...

            gunshots everywhere...
            get down!!!
            who's hit???

            You're gonna be alright man...
            so much blood...

            hurry up, hurry up!!!
            he's right here...
            them too...

            he didn't do anything...
            he didn't deserve this...

            I feel sick...
            it's not real...

As I sit here and watch,
                Those he knew,
Speak of his unique and warming smile,
                Which was real and true,

                As I sit and listen,
To their aching words and prayers,
Which we grasp at for strength,
As do all the Broncos players,

                As I sit and cry,
For this man and his kin,
For this world and its people.
For his death was a loss, his murder a sin.

                As I sit and reflect,
                How can this man,
So free of spirit and full of fire,
                Be gone from this land?

                As I sit and realize,
                We’ve lost someone loved,
                We’ve lost someone true,
And into our lives grief has been shoved,

                As I sit and hope,
                They all will be caught,
Every criminal so cold, so wicked and wrong,
                And justice will be wrought.

                As I sit and wonder,
                Will this world ever change,
Will it always be this way?
Will it always be so strange?

                In the deepest way,
                It saddens me so,
                To know that Darrent,
                Will never know.

                His children may,
                And hopefully it will,
But I suppose it’s up to us,
I do not know, for I sit here still.

It has been a week since Darrent was taken,
I hoped that the news I heard was mistaken,
wishing from this nightmare I'd soon awaken,
there are so many who remain deeply shaken,
ask ourselves why with hearts that are aching,
such grief and sadness we're feeling forsaken,
now a place in our heart for him remains vacant...

The support that has been shown is really great,
If you feel you want to join in, we won't count you late.
D Will can see just how much we all care,
Every Broncos Sunday, you can bet that he'll be there.
Maybe not in body, But most certanly in spirit,
Everbody chant his name, I know he can hear it.
Show him the happiness, that made us all like him,
Show him that we thought his smile was a perfect 10.
Keepin his memory alive through the rhymin' thread,
Keepin his spirit alive even though he's dead.
D Will we'll miss ya and you can be certian,
You may be gone but we haven't closed the curtian.

                    PEACE!!!

                      A half-year long journey ends,
in the 5th quarter as the mark is struck,
                      silence throughout the proud haven...

heads hang low as the loyal head home,
warriors congregate a final time as 1,
blank stares fill the wolves den...

young roam about to stave the melancholy,
pride is assassinated at a gathering,
                      the wise depart from confrontation...

cowards gather in secret to plot,
a fraile scheme is forged in hate,
they stalk the young as prey...

night is dark as youth is celebrated,
cowards shower them with hell and run,
an unforseen event is at hand...

young cry out in pain as they lay in snow,
a young lion's fire burns out as he bleeds away,
he left this world without a chance to fight...

                      Silence throughout the proud haven,
tears are shed in grief and angst,
the fallen lion remains young evermore...

I will not soon forget that fateful night,
the tragedy that was so far from right,
but I know now he's escaped his plight,
he has ascended to the highest height,
his soul from the earth has taken flight,
up into and through the clouds of white,
he has joined the Lord in our oversight,
and Darrent's star still shines so bright,
shining down on us with a blinding light,
showing each one of us that he's alright...

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Every clip I see of you, makes me thankful for seeing you play,
I get a sad feeling knowing I won't get to see you another day.
The confidence you showed on draft day wasn't cocky,
You talkin' bout your short stature, reminds me of Rocky.
The speed you showed on the return, is something to behold,
The drive you also showed let me know that you would never fold.
Flying high with the timing right, you foiled the plan of foes,
Crashed the party of opposing QBs and grabbed Running Backs by the toes.
The smile that you wore......during the 80 yard pick 6,
Every time I see it, I get goose bumps and it give me the kicks.
Made your living playing opposite the best in the world,
It made no bit of difference, you still made QBs heads twirll.
Mike was getting choked up when talkin' about you man,
And this is just a little something from a dedicated Bronco Fan.

Dedicated to remembrance, is what I'm here for,
The smile, the kindness soon to become Broncos lore.
I know that you're watchin' us from somewhere like Heaven,
I wanna say BIG UP to the man who wore the number twentyseven.
"I sit in my four cornered room stare'n at candles" like Scarface,
Sad at the fact I'll never again see your smilin' face.
What keeps me happy is this one simple, but true fact,
I got to watch you play two great years for the Broncs at cornerback.
One last line before I lay this post to rest,
I raise a PEACE sign to the sky and pound it twice to my chest.

                            PEACE!!!

Still here remembering the man too soonly taken,
Still when I think of that day my knees become shaken.
On a cold dark night your light was blown our short,
All I can hope is that your killers will soon see court.
Paying the price for the crime they paid to do,
That is why I will stay here remembering you.
Darrent you will always have a place in my heart,
On to a new day of living is where I'm gonna start.

                              PEACE!!!

Two bright and shining stars taken from us way too soon,
But remember those stars will shine bright up next to the moon.
D-Will and Nash are forever gone but not forgotten,
Thier smiles I will remember every time my life turns rotten.
I here to let you know I won't let your memory die,
Thinkin' of both of you each time I look up at the night sky.
Our days here on earth may be short and may be few,
But as we become stars I must say we have a great view.

                                Gone but not forgotten!!!

                                PEACE!!!
