I'm so sorry for your loss. I understand about feeling like you've lost hope. Last week my husband's cousin, whom we were both very close to, was killed in a snowmobile accident. He was 17. I still can't believe it really happened. Everytime our phone rings, I expect it to be his daily check-in.

sbutk: i can see why Denver is taking TO's right now [trailing by 7, with 30 seconds left in the half]. but why Oakland???

Captain Lori: You are trying to figure out the Raiders. Try figuring out women instead; it's probably much easier.

Words can't even start to heal your pain, here is a poem that was read at Dwill's funeral - I posted once before on another board, but it's obviously painfully appropriate again:

              I Finished Early

I had a lot to do
              More than most of you
Yet, you wonder why I left,
              I finished early...

              I started on time
              I put in a full day's work
              But I finished early..

You thought my road would be a long one
But I did run the race
              I just finished early..
              By measure of man's time,
              Not God's own time
              You look at the years
But I did all I was sent to do.
              I just finished early...

With God it counts not at all
How long, how brief, how great or how small
He looks for a ready heart
              I just finished early...

I always think that since Darrent is gone he can be with ALL of us!

So even though your sister is gone she is always with you!

Just hang tough. And just think your sister is with you all the way.

I know a lot of people. will say to you, "I Know how you feel...", or offer you empty words about her being in a better place. I heard ALL of them when I lost my brother, and the pain that they where trying to releave just would not go away, but trust me on this, it does get better. The hurt you feel now will slowly go away, there wont be a day wont think of her, or miss her, but it does get better. As a good friend of mine told me 'You never get over it, you just get on with it."

Keep your chin up, and trust. Trust in the Lord that some day the pain you feel, will ease. That he will show you, the greater good that he has planed for you in this loss. Trust the someday you will talk with her again, where streets have no name.

Till then I (as well as every member of this board ) am here for you. Anytime you need to talk, shoot me a PM, or an email. I'll even give you my personal cell number, it is ALWAYS on day or night.

Don't give up hope, there always is hope, it may be hard to find, but it is there.

May the Lord who comforts be with you

                    Love and Blessings

Losing someone is always tough. I had a brother die when I was very, very young and while I was too young to really feel its effects, I certainly know the toll it took on my parents. God bless
