I think it would be cool for Mike to get #30, only because he is a Bronco fan first then a player though! If Kircus can have 87, give the man what he wants. We can't retire all our numbers!

    You can retire #30!

They never "retired" #44 but nobody has worn the number, that I can remember, since Floyd Little. (Bobby Humphrey wore it for all of 4 games....During pre-season)

Why let "some dude" that thinks Terrell Davis was good wear #30?

I'd swear I've seen someone with that number already since TD, but dont see it listed in the Media Guide.

Sure....Let Bell wear 30 and try to make us remember TD. I hope he does!

There was a FB from god only knows where that wore #30 a year or two ago....And it was wrong, JWinn! Just wrong!

    I don't think he made the team....And it's a good thing, imo.

Mike Bell's response to Travis Henry's need to wear jersey No. 20 with the Broncos?

"He can have it," Bell said Monday. "I don't have an emotional attachment to that number. I know he does....I'll talk to him and we'll work it out. He can have it. It'll be his."

Henry, who signed with the Broncos last week to be their primary running back, said he would pay Bell, who wore No. 20 as a rookie last season, $10,000 to give up the jersey.

Henry has worn the number throughout his career. Monday, he had a medallion around his neck that featured the number.

Bell's biggest issue is not financial reimbursement.

"I just want to get a good number," said Bell, who said he may ask to wear No. 30, which his hero, Terrell Davis, wore while Davis starred for the Broncos. "That's all I care about is getting a good number."

Since TD is Bell's "hero" there is no one else I'd rather have wear 30.

Thank you for everything Darrent. I'll never forget #27.

I know we can't retire all the numbers of the players we like, yet out of all of the former Broncos #30 should be retired next. After all he is the main reason we went back-to-back Super Bowls. There is a big part of me that would like for him to pick any number but 30, yet if he does wear that number it will take a little time getting used to.
