I am sorry about letting this thread go but I am having some health issues and have not been able to post much. I am fighting arthritis in both my hands and shoulders and it has forced me to go see a pain specialist to deal with it. Needless to say some of the meds make me kind of loopy. I didn't want to tell anyone on the boards but last Oct (2015) I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that metastasized to my brain.

The brain radiation treatment I had has made it hard for me to concentrate and to see things through. I often have a hard time remembering things short term and I know I am driving my wife nuts but she has been great through all of this. The worse thing about this whole thing is they won't let me drive any more which has been hard for me to come to terms with especially since even if I forgot how to drive I would still be a better driver than half the people on the road, especially the ones staring at their phones while driving.

Well I didn't want to disrupt the boards with bad news so there were only a very few that I told. I had been going through treatments but have become allergic to the chemo so the doctors are trying to find some other treatments that might work for me.

I did not want this to become a big deal here on the boards but I also felt that you should know since I consider all of you my Broncos family. If there are any volunteers that would like to carry on this thread I am sure there would be no complaints.

Thanks for your thoughts and concerns.

Well, you know how I feel. Thoughts and prayers by the dozen for you my friend. This place sure isn't the same when you aren't around for a while. I think I speak for many when I say you are definitely part of our family. We will be here whenever you want man. Take care of yourself and get yourself better, and whatever you do , DON'T let Pnut drive you ANYWHERE

    Brian,

Clearly you have a lot of members here that enjoy not just your trivia, but your posts outside this thread as well.

I know when long periods of time go by that I don't see you on the boards I wonder if your having a bad time with the Rheumatoid Arthritis. It crosses my mind only because I'd previously read that you deal with that. To learn there is more to it really saddens me.

We all appreciate the way you revived the trivia thread here when you were able to keep it going, and enjoy your overall presence on the boards here.

For your family's sake, kick the big "C's" butt.

Someone needs to get this thread back up and running, so I'll do it.

Today is Feb. 10th, 2017, which is my mother's birthday. Send wishes to my mother if you like.

    Today's trivia question:

Rest anyone mistake Denver's lowly status back in the 1960s, what were the type of uniforms the Broncos wore for two years before they were destroyed?

    Brian,

I am a frequent flyer on this board, but I do not get around to all places. I just found out about your situation and I want to make sure you know how cool you are, how brave you are, and how much you are missed. We're saving you a seat at the head of the table for when you return!

    Bless you brother!

    Dave

So... no one's gonna answer the question?

I'm willing to take over the question-asking until he comes back.

It's not very clear what you're asking, maybe a clarification.

    Okay.

Rest anyone mistake Denver's lowly status in the 1960s, what were the uniform colors that had defined the Broncos until 1962, in which they were destroyed in a pre-game ceremony?
