    I like, but . . .

Now I'm going to have to go back and change the backgrounds of my sigs to match! I like some of the new graphics, some of the sigs look better but others . . . look really awful.

I can't seem to give CPs to anyone - says that I don't have permission to do that and to refresh my page and log back in again. . . okay NOW I tried it again and it let me give one. I'm so confused . . .

One more thing, don't know if anyone noticed, but I can't read the words on the more smiles link. It opens and the first couple of lines work barely but after that. . . they blend too closely to the background.

I kind of miss the blue too. It was easier on the eyes, but this looks really updated and the layout is great.

It's definetly different. Might take a while to get used to but I like it. Some smilies need to be changed. I think I"llk get right on them.

one thing I like and I dont think anyone has mentioned
    this,but I like when I send a PM...there isnt the box
    asking for a receipt.

also noticed when the new PM box pops up...
its still the same...at least that didnt change
    for whatever thats worth...

edit:you can also tell if someone has or hasnt
read the message you sent them...cause the
confirmed and uncomfirmed is still there.

Oh rly? I don't send PM's (only under dire circumstances), but it's comforting to know that there is no nagging "wanna receipt?" box. Hopefully, the recipient (if any) would not read my PM and, if they did, I don't wanna know!

    Maybe this has been mentioned

You must spread some contributor status around before giving it to $userinfo[username] again. <---message I got when trying to cp somebody.

    ????

Also, the white isn't nearly as bad at work as on my home comp so I think I have my monitor settings too bright on my personal. I recommend turning the brightness level down some which might help others.

I don't like the fact that if someone posts a large (in measurements, not data) image and it goes over the edge of the board to the right, the ads overlap it and the white bit finishes too early... it makes it look scruffy, whereas on the old style you could get away with it because there were no ads or 2-colour backgrounds.

It also takes my eyes ages to get used to the contrast between the background and the text, I dunno about anyone else but I've been on for about half an hour and my eyes have just got to grips with it. Which probably means I've got a migraine incoming...

I did, but I restarted my computer and the pages load and scroll quickly now.

Either I'm getting used to the white, or they made it a little *dirtier*. Anyone else feel this way? It could just be ambient light.

Ok, so the ads are here to stay. It could be worse. I've seen them between posts, which is more annoying.

I still have to log on every time I visit. For some reason if I'm idle, I get logged off. Is ANYONE having this issue? I'm running Firefox with Windows Vista. I would figure this would be a simple cookie thing...it's annoying.

I noticed that KCLady's text did not extend to the margin of the post, but JR's did. That's odd. KCLady, did you hit return at the end of each line to avoid having to scroll to the right? I wonder if the user info in the top of each post right or the ads forces the browser to a wider size. I noticed that when I read Muse's posts, because his location is UK (that's United Kingdom, not Ukraine like some people think), it extends past the right margin. Maybe the location field should have a maximum character length (sorry Muse).

Also, when I increase the screen display font size twice (with CTRL+, which you can also do with CTRL mousewheel), some of the default post text above each post overlaps the post divider. There are definitely some default text/graphics sizing issues.

I've done a bit of website design, so I can imagine the amount of work that goes into this redesign. Keep up the good work, hopefully you can incorporate many of our suggestions to make the appearance of this site top notch.

You know what Hawgdriver? I had that same issue while using Firefox... forced me to use IE7, as it's the only one that kept me logged in. I have no idea why it does that.

I find your text size easier to read. The others are just way too small.

I too am having headache issues regarding the brightness of this whole thing. I find myself actually squinting. I have adjusted the monitor brightness but I found when I turn my office light off, it doesn't seem as bad but still annoying.

How come the salute smiley has a black box around him?

I really don't like this. It is going to take major getting used to.

It was made like that so that it would blend in with the background, it will be changed soon enough
