    As for my overrated players:

    QB:
    Mike Vick
    Eli Manning
Philip Rivers (take away LT and see how well he does...)

    RB:
Reggie Bush (I expect this to change)
    Clinton Portis
    Brandon Jacobs

    WR:
    Wes Welker
    Mike Furrey

    Defense:
    Roy Williams
    Deangelo Hall
    Osi Umenyiora
    Joey Porter
I agree with most except a couple.

I don't understand how Jacobs is overrated when he hasn't had any playing time. He is being known as the next big rb in NY. But I don't believe he is overrated yet.

Wes Welker aern't overrated they are just overpaid. Enough said.

Roy Williams and Joey Porter are one of the tops at thier position in my opinion. Williams a tackling machine and with some ball skills. And Porter has the ability to get to the qb at any moment. Plus I can't hate a CSU grad (Porter).

But the most overrated in the nfl in my opinion is everyone on the chargers. (Except LT)

Porter is ridiculously overrated. He is very one-dimensional in that really all he does well is rush the passer. He isn't a great tackler, and contrary to popular belief he doesn't hit extremely hard. He is a liability in coverage, and he doesn't have the speed he once had that made up for him being a liability nor to nullify the fact that he doesn't play the run extremely well.

Antonio Gates is nowhere near overrated. Shawne Merriman, if at all, is barely overrated and that is coming from someone who doesn't like Merriman at all. Also, Lorenzo Neal is easily one of the best, if not the best, FB in the league.

Probably, but it's fun to get people like that all riled up and watch them go off on rants trying to come up with logical reasons for people to be overrated.

Bengals board has been the worst I have seen with ridiculous claims of people being overrated or underrated. I go into our forum, that is like the orange colored glasses forum on here, specifically to laugh at the ridiculous things people come up with.

When your fans say that you should get rid of your starting RB and one of the most consistent RB's the past like 4 years... you believe anything.

P.S. That wasn't a joke... there were a ridiculous amount of threads last year saying that we should get rid of Rudi.

Jacobs got a decent amount of playing time last year...he played in all but one game...96 carries isn't a lot by any means, but to say he hasn't had any playing time is a little off-base. I just think he's overrated because people seem to think he's awesome due to TDs he gets.

Let me put it this way about Welker/Furrey: Furrey won't have a year like he had last year, and I know a crapload of people who jumped on the Welker bandwagon and were saying he's awesome - 687 yds and 1 TD is hardly that.

Roy Williams can certainly hit hard, but I don't think he's a "tackling machine"

As for Porter, I'll reiterate what someone else said:

You saying he's "at the top of his position" proves that he is overrated. Check his stats.

    Word.

No... this was before we got Kenny Irons, this was when our back-up was Kenny Watson.

Also, did you see that game against the Giants last year. The team was down 21 points in the 4th quarter, and Vince almost singlehandedly won the game (with a couple of key interceptions by Pacman). So don't tell me what Vince can't do.

DING DING DING! There ya go! Vince young didn't win ANYTHING singlehandedly. In most of his wins, people like Henry and Pacman deserve as much if not more credit. Just watch how lousy the Titans are this season. It will prove that he is not able to singlehandedly win games.
