Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Carrying the ball too low! He does have a quick release, but it could be faster and more accurate if he carries at least closer to the shelf.
It also makes it easier to break on his throws.

I think he carries it about the same as Elway.
This could be one of the adjustments that he made during the offseason

There's a tradeoff here, carrying the ball lower actually makes it easier to secure w/blind side hits. Jay had some problems with fumbles last year and wasn't able to secure the ball a lot of times. While I agree that delivery wise it's better to carry it higher (chest/R-shoulder lvl) I also want to see him improve on the # of fumbles he had last year.
Nothing will ever be attempted if all possible objections must first be overcome.

The majority of those fumbles were QB/center exchanges. Where he carries the ball will have no bearing upon those.

I agree.
He just needs to remind himself that he's still a hetero and get down and dirty with Nalen's undercarriage......

Its the little things that sometimes matter most with a job like this.
Umm...no it's the big things that matter most, like making proper reads, avoiding pressure, throwing accurately, and making good decisions with the ball (throwing it away when necessary and such). Whether or not he holds the ball six inches higher or lower really isn't that important by comparison.
Wow guess some people don't like Monday morning Quarterbacks!!!! Lets just see how it plays in a few games before we break down where he is holding the football!!!
If anyone wants to know where a QB should hold the ball while making a decision, all you gotta do is watch manning. That guy puts on a camp at the QB position.
"Chillez was right Brock is best champ in the UFC, I Jump on Mir bandwagon and he got crushed."
Chillez won the sig bet. Congrats. Up next for brock? Fedor... stay tuned.
We have some excellent coaches on this team. If there is a problem with how he holds the ball, they will take care of it. I doubt they just let him do stuff wrong for no reason. Some people just have a different style that works for them and that they have done forever. It can be very hard to change and can really mess up his timing, accuracy, power, etc...
