Puts even more imphesis on Moss and Crowder to be able to be productive this season. Lang is not going anywhere, Engleberger will get his shot. Makes the Warren situation interesting, do we trade for a DE, sign a vet such as Rice?

Definitly do not like to see this happen. I hope Ekuban can comeback healthy if not on the field but for himself, was one of the pieces that people did not whine about!

    Hope all goes well Ek!

Why not let Moss have a shot, maybe he can get some heat on the QB. I mean, 1st round pick, 17mil or whatever - time to step up to the plate.

The reality of it all is that this may be their best option, even though he's injured too.

The Dumervil threads should start any time now....

man too bad on the ekuban injury. Hopefully the chargers don't suffer anything like this to one of our key players. Are you guys talking of picking someone up for this season? If not i'm sure charger fans won't miss ekuban not bein out there.

At least Henry's injury is only the MCL.. I had a partial tear in my MCL and was out for about a week.. Sucks about Ekuban but now someone else gets a chance to shine.

    Rude? No.

    Foolishly repetitive? Yes.

I'll never forget watching him chase Tomlinson from the right sideline to the left and tackle him for a loss in that first game last season; this is a big loss, and one we're not going to make up with lighter pass rushers like Lang, Moss or Dumervil. Hopefully Crowder gets healthy and comes on strong, because barring some major change it looks like our first and second down ends will be him and Engleburger. So I doubt Charger fans will miss Ekuban a whole lot, no. Big loss of a quality player and person; I wish him a full and speedy recovery, and I'LL certainly miss seeing him as our starting end.

    Unfortunately you're probably right.

Losing Ekuban hurts big time. What a crappy day.
