I loved Larry Walker but I don't view him as that important to have his number retired. If anyone it would be Helton for this franchise to date and that may still happen at some point.

Also not arguing he was a stellar Rockie. But obviously the organization doesn't agree it's worth eliminating his number from options.
To me if you aren't in the hall you shouldn't have your number retired. That stuff is reserved for legends.sigpic
